Terms & Conditions

The Manga Verse app is licensed to you (End-User) by Markcon Apps., located in Manama, Bahrain (hereinafter: "Licensor"), for use only under the terms of this License Agreement. By downloading the Application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and any updates thereto, you indicate that you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this License Agreement.

1. The Application

The Manga Verse app is designed to help users discover, read, and organize manga content. Features may include manga browsing, chapter reading, library management, bookmarking, reading progress tracking, and personalized recommendations.

2. Scope of License

You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable license to install and use the Licensed Application on any Apple-branded or Google-branded products that you (End-User) own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store and Google Play Store Terms of Service.

• This license also governs any updates of the Application, unless a separate license is provided for such updates.
• You may not share, sell, rent, lend, or redistribute the Application without Markcon Apps.'s prior written consent.
• You may not reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application without prior written consent.
• You may create and store copies of the Application on devices you own for backup purposes, but no unauthorized third parties may access these copies.
• Violations of the above obligations may result in prosecution and damages.
• Licensor reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of licensing.
• You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the Application.

3. Technical Requirements

The Application requires a compatible iOS or Android device with the minimum supported operating system version. The Licensor recommends using the latest version of the operating system. It is your responsibility to ensure your device meets the technical specifications needed for the app.

4. Maintenance and Support

The Licensor is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services for the licensed Application. Markcon Apps. and the End-User acknowledge that the Apple App Store and Google Play Store have no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the Application.

5. Use of Data

The Licensor may access and adjust your downloaded licensed Application content and your personal information, subject to the terms of the Privacy Policy available within the app and on our website.

6. User-Generated Contributions

The Application may allow users to submit or post content such as reviews, comments, reading lists, or manga recommendations. Any user-generated content will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Policy, and users must ensure their content does not violate intellectual property rights or applicable laws.

7. Contribution License

By submitting suggestions or feedback, you agree that we can use and share them without compensation to you. You retain ownership of your content, but you are solely responsible for its legality. Markcon Apps. is exonerated from responsibility for your submitted content.

8. Content Disclaimer

• The manga content available through the Application is sourced from third-party providers. Markcon Apps. does not create, own, or control the manga content.
• Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to access the content in their jurisdiction.
• Some manga may contain mature themes or content not suitable for all ages. Parental guidance is advised.
• The Application may include content ratings or age restrictions where applicable.

9. Liability

• The Licensor's responsibility in the case of violation of obligations shall be limited to intent and gross negligence.
• Markcon Apps. is not responsible for any damages due to a breach of duties according to Section 2 of this Agreement.
• Markcon Apps. is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or availability of third-party manga content.
• The Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

10. Warranty

Markcon Apps. warrants that the Application is free of spyware, trojan horses, viruses, or any other malware at the time of your download. Markcon Apps. warrants that the Application works as described in the user documentation.

11. Product Claims

Markcon Apps. and the End-User acknowledge that Markcon Apps., and not Apple or Google, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the licensed Application, including:

• Product liability claims
• Any claim that the licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement
• Claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation

12. Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or listed on any U.S. Government prohibited or restricted party lists.

14. Third-Party Terms & Beneficiary

Apple, Google, and their subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this License Agreement. Upon your acceptance of the terms, Apple and Google will have the right to enforce this License Agreement against you as third-party beneficiaries.

15. Intellectual Property Rights

In the event of any third-party claim that the Application infringes intellectual property rights, Markcon Apps. will be solely responsible for addressing the claim.

16. Termination

This license is effective until terminated by you or Markcon Apps. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this license. Upon termination, you shall stop all use of the Application and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the Application.

17. Applicable Law

This License Agreement is governed by the laws of Bahrain, excluding its conflict of law rules.
